A lesbian poet with a penchant for the nitty gritty, I am always extra excited to write poems to, for, and about our queer community. Poems that uplift, tell the truth, and magnify all that is queer is near and dear to me and my work. I'm thrilled to offer custom on-the-spot poetry for your queer event or gathering. Each guest will leave with a treasured keepsake that makes them feel seen, heard and listened to. Curious how this works? During my time at your event, guests stop by and ask for a poem on the topic of their choice, or you can suggest a theme for the event. Even shy guests usually open up within a few moments, and then I start writing. I'm typically able to write about 15 poems per hour when busy. Every poem is typed on archival heavy cotton stock, dedicated to its recipient and signed. A huge smile, a tear, or sometimes a hug is the way my time with each guest ends. It is truly a special and moving experience for both of us. Each booking includes a free 15-minute phone or video consult.
