Poetry workshops

Here are the 4 workshops I offer at the moment: 1. Collage Poetry: Cutting and pasting words and images to make poems Overview: Explore the form of collage poetry, where we will flip through old magazines and books to find words and images, cut them out and paste them to create new works of art. This hands-on workshop will guide you in combining visual elements with language to craft unique and compelling pieces. Who Should Attend: Ideal for artists, writers, and anyone interested in collaging. No prior experience required. Join us to blend collaging with poetry to create art that speaks from the heart. 2. Photography and Poetry: Capturing Moments, Crafting Words Overview: In this hands-on workshop we will learn about the relationship between photography and poetry, basic techniques for capturing compelling images and writing poems that reflect the essence of the photograph, and how to combine visual imagery with poetic language to create powerful visual and verbal narratives. Who Should Attend: Open to photographers, poets, and anyone interested in combining these skills. No prior experience required, but you will need access to a camera (phone is fine). Join us to explore the synergy between photography and poetry, and create stories that captivate. 3.
