Since you dreamed me up, it is only write ;) that we find a way to enjoy this dreamworld together. In the 3 years I’ve been a typewriter poet (after anointing myself as a poet in the 7th grade), I’ve had the pleasure of writing for guests at all sorts of events — from wedding receptions at Wythe Hotel, to themed skincare launches with Keys Soulcare, literary galas at New York Public Library, and most recently the induction of The American Art Reinstallation gallery at The Brooklyn Museum. All aforementioned name drops are my way of illustrating the big picture of our dreamworld: Typewriter poetry is the future of connection through vintage technology. Whether you want something like a photobooth but more personalized and interactive, this is the perfect old-literary-reverie meets modern-human-lore touch. THE OFFERING ​/​ HOW IT WORKS: During your event, guests can approach me at any time for a custom poem. I'll explain the process to them, and after they share as little or as much as they desire, I take about 2-3 minutes to conjure and type out their poem and read it to them. There’s delight, hugs exchanged, tears flowing, love all in the air! Given the personalization and intimacy of each interaction, I can write an average of 20 poems an hour.
