Hi! I'm Sofia Isabel, a published poet and essayist based in New York City. I have five years of experience writing and publishing poetry, and performing in several formats including spoken word, live readings and as of recent, typewriter poetry. I've recently performed for the Mellon Foundation, a pride parade funded by Riseboro Brooklyn, and the launch party for Travelers, Poets & Friends. LANGUAGES English, Spanish, French. HOW IT WORKS At any time during my hours booked, guests can approach me and ask for an on-the-spot poem on a topic of their choice. This is an intimate artistic experience, creating a safe space for your guests to feel seen and heard. I'm capable of writing 15 poems per hour, taking my time with each person. Guests leave with a small, tangible piece of themselves to take home. Each booking includes a 15 minute phone or video consultation, either before or after the booking.
