Madam Neverstop (Elizabeth Torres) is an award-winning Colombian-American poet, multimedia artist, cultural organizer, and performer known for her immersive experiences combining multilingual poetry, film and installations, typewriters, and soundscapes. Winner of the 2022 Ambroggio Prize from the Academy of American Poets, she has authored over 20 books in multiple languages. Madam Neverstop holds an MFA in Writing for the Performing Arts from the National School of Performing Arts in Denmark and has performed at prestigious institutions such as the Hans Christian Andersen Museum, University of Washington, University of Wales, and the University of Copenhagen, among many others. She is the director of Red Door Gallery in Copenhagen, tutors at the Poetry School in the UK, and serves as the coordinator of NoMuLab, the first international multimedia poetry lab in the Nordic region.
