Hello, I'm Zoe Branch.
I'm a New York-based artist and poet. You might have seen me writing poems on the internet, on the TODAY Show, on the streets of the city, or at your best friend's wedding. My style leans toward free-verse with a rhythmic heartbeat. I'm also a sucker for limericks. I became a typewriter poet after inheriting my great grandfather's 1931 Remington Noiseless, accidentally starting a business with it in 2018, and using said business to make a quiet exit from the journalism industry in 2020. I've been a full-time self-employed artist since. When not out and about performing poetry, I am working on a show about my estranged grandmother or recording my poetry/comedy podcast, Poking Around. Or I'm laying in the soil and looking at the sky. That's probably the most important one.
